Group transactions on the same day
Use this page to group transactions on the same day. This way you can reduce the number of transactions by approx. 95% and speed up all reports.
Only transactions with the same currency, transaction type, exchange and day will be grouped.
All balances and final values will not be changed during this process.
You need at least two connected accounts to use this tool:
1) a master account that contains all the data
2) and a second account to which the grouped data should be transferred
You can only copy transactions to accounts with the same time zone (change your
time zone settings here).
For optimal results, the account you copy to should be empty or contain only grouped data.
How it works:
- Import or enter all transactions into your master account
- Make sure you are currently logged into this master account
- Select the account into which you want to import all grouped transactions
- Optionally enter a start and end date, or leave the fields empty to group all transactions
- Existing transactions will be skipped automatically as long as they have not been changed in the master account

Example:
- You have 5 million transactions in your master account and you want to import them grouped into a new account
- Select your new account in the dropdown below
- Start the grouping process with the orange button below
- All transactions and fees will now be grouped to the new account with an average compression rate of 90-99% (the more tx the higher the compression)
- We recommend comparing the balance of the master account with the balance of the new account after the grouping. The balances should match exactly.
- To speed up future groupings, we recommend deleting all transactions from the master account afterwards. Before doing so, a CSV/XLS export should be saved on your PC and a new start date should be entered for all active APIs so that the deleted data is not re-imported.
